To maintain the highest standards and ensure consistency in our lessons, our Thai teachers are continuously supported by our Singapore team through weekly meetings, in-depth discussions of weekly lesson materials, and structured curriculum guidance.
CO-FOUNDER OF MATH MAVENS
Mr James
Mr. Wee Toon and I have been close friends for over ten years, since before I got married. After becoming a father of three, I realised that the most valuable gift I could give my children for their future is a strong education that prepares them for life. I believe many parents feel the same way.
With this conviction, Mr. Wee Toon and I set out to bring Math Mavens from Singapore to Thailand—so that my children, and all parents who share this belief, can provide their children with a quality education. What began as a shared belief between friends became the birth of Math Mavens Thailand.
CO-FOUNDER AND PRINCIPAL OF MATH MAVENS
Mr Teo Wee Toon
My favourite quote in life is:
“Life is a journey. Whatever good that I can do, let me do it now, because I may not pass by this way again.”
With this philosophy at heart, I believe there is no better time than now to share Math Mavens’ expertise with students in Thailand.
You might wonder, why the name Math Mavens?
The word “Mavens” is defined as trusted experts in a particular field, who seek to pass knowledge on to others. It comes from Hebrew and means one who understands, based on an accumulation of knowledge. This perfectly reflects our mission — to be trusted experts who empower students by sharing mathematical knowledge and delivering quality Primary Mathematics education.
Mathematics is the language of the universe — the foundation of critical and analytical thinking. Building a strong mathematical foundation is one of the greatest gifts a parent can give a child. It becomes the wings that enable our children to soar high and reach their fullest potential.
My journey as an educator has taken me through the entire spectrum of Mathematics — from the fundamentals of Mathematics to Mathematics for the gifted. Drawing upon this depth of knowledge and experience, I founded Math Mavens. Today, we proudly open our 5th branch in Bangkok, Nanglinchee.
Together, let’s equip students in Thailand with the strongest Singapore Foundation in Mathematics, empowering them to gain a Global Edge in their future endeavours.
