Each member of our team is:

A Thai national fluent in English, ensuring seamless communication and effective delivery of the curriculum
A highly qualified university graduate, bringing strong academic credentials and subject expertise
Experienced in international school environments, confident in engaging students from diverse backgrounds with professionalism and care

To maintain the highest standards and ensure consistency in our lessons, our Thai teachers are continuously supported by our Singapore team through weekly meetings, in-depth discussions of weekly lesson materials, and structured curriculum guidance.

Mr James

Mr. Wee Toon and I have been close friends for over ten years, since before I got married. After becoming a father of three, I realised that the most valuable gift I could give my children for their future is a strong education that prepares them for life. I believe many parents feel the same way.

With this conviction, Mr. Wee Toon and I set out to bring Math Mavens from Singapore to Thailand—so that my children, and all parents who share this belief, can provide their children with a quality education. What began as a shared belief between friends became the birth of Math Mavens Thailand.

Inspired by this philosophy, I am committed to sharing Math Mavens’ expertise with students in Thailand.

The name Math Mavens reflects our mission—trusted experts who share knowledge and empower students through quality Primary Mathematics education. We believe a strong mathematical foundation builds critical thinking and helps children reach their full potential.

With years of experience teaching Mathematics—from fundamentals to gifted programmes—I founded Math Mavens. Today, we proudly open our 5th branch in Bangkok, Nanglinchee, bringing Singapore’s strong Mathematics foundation to students in Thailand and giving them a Global Edge for the future.

Working with children has always been a true passion of mine. There is nothing more rewarding than supporting their learning, growth, and the discovery of their potential. I firmly believe that, with the right support and a nurturing environment, every child can thrive—especially when learning is tailored to their individual styles and needs. My goal is to make lessons enjoyable, engaging, and curiosity-driven so that learning becomes an exciting experience. Witnessing children’s progress, whether big or small, is the most fulfilling aspect of my work, and I make sure to celebrate every step they take along their educational journey.

My inspiration for teaching comes from a deep desire to see my students grow, not only academically but also in how they apply their learning to real life. I believe every student is unique, with their own strengths and learning styles. As a teacher, I strive to understand the unique needs of each student and adapt my teaching approaches to support their learning journey effectively. I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and joyful learning environment where students feel valued, engaged, supported and motivated to do their best. To me, teaching goes beyond imparting knowledge and delivering lessons – it is about building meaningful relationships, nurturing confidence, and helping each child discover their potential both in and beyond the classroom.
